January 20, 2008 - Good evening,
I just wanted to write and sing your praises. I was a little wary booking my transportation to Disney World (1/8 thru 1/12/08, confirmation number FL-10973) with you, mostly because you didn't require a deposit beforehand. My thoughts were that since there was no deposit, you also might not show up. I was gladly proven wrong. I had messed up & we missed our original flight by 10 minutes and ended up having to take another flight which brought us in approx 2 hours later. I immediately called Florida Tours to let them know of my screw-up. The gentleman who answered the phone was calm and reassuring with his "hey, it happens" demeanor. I'd been so stressed out because I had thrown the timetable off that I had planned so carefully. I had no reason to worry...Ali was there, waiting for us, with name sign in hand to identify himself. He was nicely dressed, pleasant and courteous. The car was immaculate and nice and cool. He helped us with our luggage and even though we were supposed to have arrived much earlier, he still gave us time to do a grocery stop. The drive was pleasant and we engaged in conversation and were delivered to the Carribean Beach with no problems.

The morning of our flight back, Ali was there promptly at 9 am & ever the gentleman, he was out of the car & loading our suitcases and holding the door open for us. I had tipped him on the drop-off already,

but also mentioned that I wanted to put in a good word for him. To let his bosses know how much I appreciated the attention we got and all for $109 roundtrip. What a bargain! I come from NY and I can honestly say that I can't remember the last time I got such good service...from anyone. Ali was GREAT, he made a trip that started out so scattered & rushed, a little more smooth by doing his job and doing it without an attitude. We come from the Land of Attitude and it was so refreshing to actually have the vacation START at the moment of pick up from the airport.

I will definitely use your service again in the future. And I make sure to tell all my friends that are visiting Mickey, to give you a call.

July 21 , 2007 - I just wanted you to know that I was very happy with our transportation provided by Florida tours.  It was great to arrive at the airport and have a courteous driver and a van big enough for the eight of us.  My children were very impressed with the luxurious van while I was thrilled with the direct service. The two pick ups on different days were done with efficiency and again, we had a great driver. My friends that traveled to Shades of Green also had paid less for their transportation with another service but suffered with the multiple stops upon their arrival and the 3 hour advance of departure pick up back to the airport. Some things in life are just worth paying for and your service, while not the least expensive, was certainly the best.  I intend to use your service again in any subsequent return trips to Orlando. February 05, 2007 - "We just got back from our vacation to WDW. The beginning of our vacation was a nightmare, but it had a happy ending. Here is our story:

We booked a hotel (which shall remain nameless) back in early December. We received a phone confirmation and an email confirmation. A down payment had already been charged to our credit card.

On Wednesday, December 27 my wife and I, along with our two daughters (ages eight and five) arrived in Orlando at 11:00 p.m. via Southwest Air. A driver from FL Tours was at the airport to pick us up and take us to our hotel. However, the driver told us he had called ahead to the hotel and was told that the hotel was closed for renovations.

We were sure there had been some mistake (we had a confirmation number, our VISA had already been charged), so we had him call again. After repeated phone calls from our driver and me, we were finally convinced that the hotel was in fact closed. Someone from the hotel referred our driver to a sister hotel, so we called that number. Unfortunately, there were no vacancies. Our driver also noted that the number he called was in a different area code. We had booked this particular hotel specifically because it was close to Disney and there was a free shuttle to the parks.

Fortunately our driver from FL Tours, Daren Deneau, was great. He told us that we were his last stop and he wouldn t leave us until we had a hotel. We told Daren we were looking for something about $100 per night, close to the parks, with a free shuttle (essentially what we had already booked) . While Daren drove from the airport, his office began calling hotels in the area. Unfortunately, they got back to us shortly to let us know they had called around and there was no way we were going to find something for that price on such short notice during Christmas week. We asked them to look for something less than $150 per night. In the meantime, Daren drove us around the Palm Parkway area. We stopped at a few hotels, including the Holiday Inn Express, but no rooms were available. We saw the Comfort Inn had a vacancy, so we quickly drove there. However, the woman at the front desk said they had booked their last room five minutes ago and hadn t changed the sign yet. Eventually, after about 90 minutes of driving and calling (and a minor crying spell from my eight-year-old daughter) we found a room at the Residence Inn for $149 per night.

We wound up staying there all week (it was very nice) and our original hotel agree to reimburse us for our added expense. So it all worked out in the end.

But I shudder to think what would have happened to us if we had decided to rent a car, or if we had used a car service less "user-friendly".

Upon arriving in MCO we find that the airlines had broke our stroller and the driver was kind enough to take us to Super Target instead of the regular grocery store so that we could buy a stroller and groceries at the same time. We changed our arrival date less than 48 hours before we arrived, and FL Tours was able to fit us in, then called and picked us up earlier than expected (from an airport hotel, we flew in late the night before). Renata was very friendly, helped with our luggage, told us a little of what to expect with the coming hurricane, played Toy Story for our boys during the ride, the van was completely clean, the carseat provided for my 3-yo was in excellent condition, clean, no tears or stains. She was an excellent driver, no sudden lane changes or anything like that. When we arrived at our resort, she helped us with our luggage, gave our receipt and confirmed our pickup details and didn't mind when I asked to change the time because we wanted to do some shopping at the airport. Ricardo picked us up for the return trip, he was also very nice, helped with luggage, played Toy Story for my boys, he was an excellent driver also, helped us unload at the airport and made sure we were set before he left.
